Our Realise Your Potential Programme is designed to support people aged 19-plus and increase their confidence and self-esteem.
If you worry, suffer from stress or low mood then our specially-designed programme aims to open your mind to the prospect of building a positive mindset, providing you with the skills to lead a happier, more rewarding life. Alongside this, a Lifestyle Support Worker will provide specific information, advice and guidance to support you to achieve your personal goals and aspirations.
Our workshops have been designed to be an enjoyable, rewarding learning experience. The topics included are as follows:
Learning About Yourself: Acts of kindness | How to recognise happiness | Developing self-awareness
What Makes Us Tick? Recognising our emotional health | Managing feelings and being resilient | Recognising signs of stress and learning new strategies | What else influences feelings and behaviour?
Making New Connections: Active listening, communication and non-verbal MTA pass activity – team building activity to aid reflection | Communication interaction and support networks | Actively listen to someone for one minute
Activating Mind and Body: Relaxation | Linking mind to body awareness | Using experiential activities | Relaxation activities | Do something you enjoy
Being Mindful: Taking notice | Being in the ‘here and now’ | The choices we make | Personal power and taking responsibility | Mindfulness exercise | Steps for the future | Nurturing activity – self care
