YMCA HUMBER is looking for a Volunteer Customer Service Officer to be based at our Peaks Lane Housing Project.
This role involves handling accounts and data at the main reception desk, whilst greeting and signposting telephone calls and visitors.
The volunteer duties include handling a switchboard telephone, working with Microsoft Excel, handling money.
You will be reporting directly to the Project Manager.
Hours are to be discussed; however we have hours to suit most people, ranging from 8am – 8pm, Monday to Friday.
Successful applicant to start immediately.
We are looking for a volunteer with good people skills, capable of using their own initiative. Due to the nature of the role you should be well presented.
The right applicant must be flexible and well organised.
You should be skilled in ICT, and this will be assessed on site. You will also have good English and Maths skills.
It would be desirable to have experience working with people, as well as being a well-rounded, calm and sensible person.

You will be based at our Peaks Lane hostel which offers an interesting and friendly working dynamic.
