AS MANY of you may be aware, I have already begun a marathon challenge (literally!) which will last for twelve whole months to raise money for the YMCA Humber.
The challenge consists of completing eight mammoth physical endurance races, with the final race being the London Marathon early next year. Courses such as Tough Mudder, Yorkshire Warrior and Total Warrior all form part of this this year-long challenge. I am attempting this with two colleagues and I WILL complete early next year!
The part I’m dreading the most might surprise you. It’s not the London Marathon. It’s not getting electrocuted during Tough Mudder or running through fire!
No, it’s actually the fundraising part. I recognise that money is tight for most … and part of me dreads asking people for money!
However, it wouldn’t be a fundraiser if I didn’t ask you to consider donating. I’m personally hoping to raise close to £2000 – and I am currently a LONG WAY OFF! Therefore
I have been training for AGES and have put plenty of hard work into this one – so any donation would be appreciated, and all funds will be going to help support young people in the Humber region who find themselves in difficult circumstances.
