HAVE you ever wanted to get online but struggled to find the help and support you need?
Help is at hand in the shape of YMCA Humber’s UK Online taster sessions.
Millions of people use the internet everyday and it helps make their lives much easier – now you can join them.
YMCA Humber is offering you the chance to get online at its Foyer Housing Project on Riby Square in Grimsby. The dates are:
Friday 27th February from 10am to 4pm
Friday 6th March from 10am to 4pm
Our staff will be on hand for whatever you want to learn about – from using a mouse for the first time to finding jobs online or keeping in touch with friends and family. We’ll give you a helping hand so that you are confident in whatever you want to do.
YMCA Humber’s Funding and Volunteer Coordinator Alan Burley is leading the project.
He said: “There are so many things that you can do online.
“It can make everyday tasks a lot easier, save you time and money and allow you to more of the things you like doing best!
“If you have never touched a computer before and want to get started with the basics or you can do a little and what to know a bit more, we will be there to help.”
To join in with the UK Online sessions, simply turn up on the day or book an appointment by contacting Alan Burley on 07862277435.
