The YMCA are looking for young fathers in Grimsby to join their brand new project. Take a look at the press release or read on to find out more.
YMCA Humber are establishing a brand new project in Grimsby for young fathers who have had children under the age of 25, are currently parents or carers, or are expecting a baby.
The ‘Young Dads Collective’ sets out to bring together young fathers and support them to share their knowledge and experience.
This will help guide practitioners, service providers, and policy makers, as well as providing young fathers with training and the chance to meet other young men going through a similar situation.
As well as creating a supportive community for young fathers across Grimsby, the project aims to improve the way services are delivered to young dads.
This will improve support across the board, as well as improving outcomes for children in the area. A spokesperson for YMCA Humber said: “Are you a young father? Would you like to share your experiences and join a new community of young dads?
