At One Well-Being Interventions
At One is a lottery funded project aimed at providing interventions to improve the mental health and well-being of young people between the ages of 16 and 35 living in North East Lincolnshire.
At One provides a suite of opportunities tailored to the needs of the individual which could include one or more of the following;
Qualified counselling professionals working on a 1 2 1 basis with a young person to help them find their own solutions to their own issues.
A supported work experience opportunity to provide a young person with new skills to develop their CV and increased confidence to help move towards future employment, training or education.
- Group Work (Groups are age appropriate)
Provides the opportunity to participate in activities intended to reduce anxiety in a social setting, challenge negative thinking, promote positivity and learning around issues that can impact positively on their mental and emotional well-being.
Group work consists of up to 12 weekly sessions covering subjects that could include;
Healthy Relationships- What is a healthy/unhealthy relationship? Identifying the differences.
Body Image- Healthy body image awareness and promotion.
The Image we Present- Masks we wear, the inner and the outer self and the authentic ‘you’.
Gender, Sex and Sexuality- Exploration and self-discovery.
Attachments/Personalities- What is meant by attachments. Our attachment styles and how these potentially impact on self.
Mental Resilience- What is meant by mental resilience. How to promote well-being.
The Next Steps – Life coaching. Moving forward in my life. Being in control of me. Being happy. Believing in me.
- Bespoke Participant Needs
At One will adopt a flexible approach to delivery to enable easier access to the project. This could include looking at delivery times and venues and putting on bespoke services (e.g. Meditation), where resources allow.
