At One

At One Well-Being Interventions

At One is a lottery funded project aimed at providing interventions to improve the mental health and well-being of young people between the ages of 18 and 24 living in North East Lincolnshire.

At One provides a suite of opportunities tailored to the needs of the individual which could include one or more of the following;

  • Counselling

Qualified counselling professionals working on a 1 2 1 basis with a young person to help them find their own solutions to their own issues.

  • Volunteering

A supported work experience opportunity to provide a young person with new skills to develop their CV and increased confidence to help move towards future employment, training or education.

  • Group Work

Provides the opportunity to participate in activities intended to reduce anxiety in a social setting, challenge negative thinking, promote positivity and learning around issues that can impact positively on their mental and emotional well-being.

Group work consists of up to 12 weekly sessions covering subjects that could include;

Healthy Relationships- What is a healthy/unhealthy relationship.

Body Image- Healthy body image awareness and promotion.

The Image we Present- Masks we wear, the inner and the outer self and the authentic ‘you’.

Attachments/Personalities- What is meant by attachments. Our attachment styles and how these potentially impact on self.

Mental Resilience- What is meant by mental resilience. How to promote well-being.

The Next Steps – Moving forward in my life. Being in control of me. Being happy. Believing in me.

  • Bespoke Participant Needs

At One will adopt a flexible approach to delivery to enable easier access to the project. This could include looking at delivery times and venues and putting on bespoke services (e.g. Meditation), where resources allow.
