Finance Officer (Income)

An exciting opportunity has arisen to the YMCA Humber team as a Finance Officer (Income).

Hours – Full-time

Days – Monday – Friday

Salary - £24,300 - £27,600 depending on experience

Reporting to the Head of Finance and Information Systems this varied role has accountability for –

  • Managing all aspects residents’ rent and payments for services, with associated administration
  • Train support staff in the processes to support residents making online Housing Benefits and Universal Credit claims
  • Manage resident personal and housing benefit arrears
  • Manage resident rent relief in line with the rent relief policy
  • Creating the monthly rent journal in conjunction with the Finance Officer (Expenditure)
  • Raising of all sales invoices including our conferencing suite
  • Ensure all rent and sales transactions are recorded accurately on our housing and accounting systems
  • Ensure that the monthly HRS claim is recorded accurately in SAGE 200.
