Sessional Dance Teacher

YMCA Humber Youth and Community team are looking for a creative and enthusiastic dance teacher who can facilitate our new weekly dance session.

Our aim is to create a positive and inclusive learning environment whilst motivating and inspiring our club members, and with this in mind we would love to hear from local dance teachers who have a unique take on dance, and how to engage with the local community. 

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in various dance styles, a love for teaching others, and with relevant dance or performing arts qualifications, be able to plan and deliver engaging and unique weekly dance sessions to our youth club members, irrespective of ages or ability.

Our youth and community team focus upon delivering an exceptional youth provision to children across the East Marsh of Grimsby and beyond, running our dance afterschool club from our youth club, based at the MUGA on Kent Street.    

Hours of work:

  • The role is based upon a sessional contract, ideal for current dance teachers who are willing to undertake additional hours alongside current work commitments.

Hourly rate:

  • YMCA Humber is a Real Living Wage employer and offers a competitive rate of pay to qualified dance teachers starting at £13.00 per hour, plus additional holiday allowance increments.
