As YMCA Humber prepare to move to their new eye-catching community and residential development at Freeman Street, Grimsby, they are excited to announce the launch of their new modern conference facilities.

The facilities will soon be ready to be used by the local community and can be hired by businesses, charities, organisations, community groups as well as the general public when the centre opens later this year.

The facilities are split into a conference hall, meeting room and café.

The conference hall, named The Weston Hall, (after a generous donation from Garfield Weston) has been carefully designed with a variety of events in mind and can accommodate up to 100 guests as well as its very own self-contained drinks station.

The flexible and multipurpose Weston Hall can be arranged to accommodate up to 100 guests in a theatre style and up to 50 guests in a banquet style with full catering facilities available.

The modern and tasteful neutral decor provides a blank canvas for private functions through to any business-related events. The fully air-conditioned room also benefits from natural daylight with a wall of floor to ceiling windows which can open to allow guests to cascade onto the outdoor terrace.

The meeting room is ideal to host a variety of events from board meeting to seminars, training sessions to team meetings, this room is set in a board room style and can accommodate up to 12 guests.

The centre has excellent disabled access, Free Wi-Fi as standard, excellent public transport links and a separate foyer area with waiting space for guests.

Steve Rusling, Head of Digital Marketing and Communications for YMCA Humber said “We can’t wait for the conference and meeting facilities to open to the local community, the versatility of our facilities means that we can help with any event people wish to hold. It’s a really exciting opportunity.”

Bookings can be taken through the newly launched website https://www.ymca-humber.com/what-we-do/conference-and-events/ or by calling 01472 359621.
