Domestic Assistant

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Domestic Assistant to join our team at our busy sports facilities. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all users, including teams, staff, and visitors.

The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning and sanitising changing rooms, toilets, showers, and other communal areas throughout the facility.

Duties will also include maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the building, café and reception areas, as well as emptying bins, disposing of waste correctly, and replenishing cleaning and hygiene supplies as required.

You will be expected to follow all health and safety regulations, including COSHH guidelines, at all times. The role also involves identifying and reporting any maintenance issues, hazards, or equipment faults to the appropriate supervisor to ensure the facility remains safe and well maintained.

Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided. You should be able to work both independently and as part of a team, be reliable and punctual, and be physically capable of carrying out cleaning duties.

Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, or weekends may be required depending on facility needs and a full driving licence is essential as you may also at times be required to work across our other YMCA Humber sites across North East Lincolnshire.

HOURS OF WORK

• Part Time : 12 hours per week.
• Working to a flexible rota including days, early evenings and weekends.  
• Full driving licence is essential for this role. 

RATE OF PAY 

• £13.00 per hour.
