Vacancies at YMCA Humber’s Parent and Baby House

YMCA Humber currently has vacancies at its Parent and Baby House, offering a safe, supportive, and nurturing home for young parents in North East Lincolnshire.
Located in one of our community houses, the Parent and Baby House provides accommodation for expectant mothers and mothers with children up to four years old who have a connection to the North East Lincolnshire area.
The house offers a warm, family-style environment where residents can feel safe, develop confidence, and prepare for independent living.
Each resident is supported by a dedicated YMCA Humber Support Coach, who works alongside them to build essential life and tenancy skills, while offering guidance through the early stages of parenthood.
This initiative forms part of YMCA Humber’s ongoing commitment to helping local young people and families belong, contribute, and thrive.
“We know how important it is for young parents to feel supported, especially in those first few years,” said Siobhan Porter, who oversees the Parent and Baby House in her role as Accommodation Manager at YMCA Humber. “Our aim is to create a space where mums can build confidence, learn at their own pace, and know they’re not alone as they take those first steps into parenthood.”
If you or someone you know could benefit from this opportunity, please contact Siobhan Porter on (01472) 403020 for more information.
