Steph's Story

Steph has been coming to The Bradbury Café at YMCA Humber since the building opened in 2021.

Steph first heard about The Bradbury Café through a friend who enjoyed spending their time here. Once she had experienced the café for herself, she did not look back, Steph now comes to the café everyday its open for lunch with her friends.

When asked why Steph chooses to spend her time here, she said, “the price is good, I love the food here and I have made some friends here as well.”

Steph emphasised that the café is “definitely a safe place”, and as someone who lives on their own, she feels The Bradbury Café is a warm place to come to with her friends, it makes her feel relaxed and that she is not on her own.
