Maintenance Lead

The Maintenance Lead will be responsible for the effective management and upkeep of all YMCA Humber properties, facilities, and grounds, ensuring consistently high standards of repair, cleanliness, and safety across the organisation. Reporting in to the Head of Assets, this role will lead the maintenance officers, overseeing routine maintenance, cleaning, and groundskeeping activities, and ensure resources are planned and deployed efficiently.

Through robust systems, monitoring, and a continuous improvement approach, the Maintenance will ensure compliance with relevant health and safety legislation, statutory requirements, and internal standards. Working collaboratively with the Head of Assets, internal teams and external contractors, this key role will ensure effective service delivery, timely resolution of issues, and strong oversight of risk across the portfolio.

This is a key role in maintaining safe, welcoming, and well-managed environments that support the wellbeing of staff, residents, and visitors, and underpins the consistent and successful delivery of YMCA Humber’s services.

HOURS OF WORK

• Part Time : 40 hours per week (part time will be considered.) 
• Monday to Friday : Day Based Hours. 
• Flexibility is essential to meet the fluid needs of the business.

RATE OF PAY

• £14.50 per hour (£30,242.00 per annum WTE.)
