At YMCA Humber, we are looking for a passionate and motivated Youth and Education Worker to deliver engaging programmes that help young people learn new skills, stay active, build confidence, and reach their potential through youth work, education, and sport.

The successful candidate will create safe, inclusive, and supportive environments where young people feel valued and empowered. You will build positive relationships, adapt activities to meet individual needs, and inspire participation, personal growth, and aspiration within the community.

With experience in youth work, education, and child development, you will design and deliver inclusive, engaging programmes and activities that support young people from all backgrounds to thrive. You will adapt opportunities to meet a wide range of needs, interests, and abilities, helping young people build confidence, develop aspirations, and gain essential life skills in a safe and supportive environment.

Through mentoring, community engagement, creative programmes, and sport-based activities, you will empower young people to recognise their strengths, overcome barriers, and develop the confidence, resilience, and skills needed to achieve their potential. You will play an active role in creating positive spaces where young people feel heard, respected, valued, and encouraged to participate fully within their community.

As part of a welcoming and collaborative organisation that values teamwork, inclusion, and high quality support, you will contribute to building meaningful relationships and connections that extend beyond universal youth provision. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who is passionate about making a lasting and meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people
