YMCA Humber has released its 2025 Year in Review video, offering a powerful look at the people, progress and partnerships that have shaped the organisation in 2025. Watch it here.

The short film brings together stories from across YMCA Humber’s services, including housing, youth work, wellbeing, training and community provision. It highlights not just the scale of activity delivered across North East Lincolnshire, but the real human impact behind it.

At the heart of the video are the voices of the people who use YMCA Humber’s services. From residents rebuilding independence to young people growing in confidence, the film captures the everyday moments that lead to lasting change.

Throughout 2025, YMCA Humber has continued to expand and strengthen its offer. The organisation secured Ofsted registration, enabling the launch of our Wraparound Care and Holiday Club provision, supporting local families with safe, engaging childcare. Another key milestone was the development and official opening of the Kent Street PlayZone 2G Multi-use Games Area, providing a high-quality, accessible space for the whole community to stay active.

In August, YMCA Humber introduced its enhanced community offer, ‘Advice. Support. Wellbeing. Action.’, delivered in partnership with Citizens Advice. This brought practical advice services together with wellbeing support.

Housing provision has remained central to the organisation’s work, offering safe, stable accommodation alongside opportunities for residents to build independence and confidence.

Youth provision has continued to grow, with an increasing number of sessions shaped directly by young people. This focus on youth voice has ensured that activities remain relevant, engaging and impactful.

Training and development have also played a significant role, with YMCA Humber delivering Level 3 Youth Work training to learners both internally and externally, alongside counselling training for partners and providers across the sector.

Behind all of this is our committed team, whose dedication continues to drive the organisation forward. In 2025, staff and supporters raised over £3,500 through our Running for Kent Street campaign, alongside a year of strong team spirit and shared achievements.

Speaking about the video, Kate Conway, YMCA Humber’s CEO, said: “This short film captures what YMCA Humber is all about. It’s about people, their journeys, their progress and their potential. We are incredibly proud of what has been achieved in 2025, but even more proud of the individuals who make it happen every day.”
